Join Boston-based singer/songwriter Anjimile for a songwriting workshop! We’ll talk about song structure, music & lyrics, and finding inspiration. This is an interactive workshop so please bring something to write with, something to write on and your super cool creative brain. You rock!
Anjimile (aka Jimi) is a queer and trans indie artist based in Boston, MA. Their recently-released debut album, Giver Taker, has been covered in Rolling Stone, NPR Music, The Guardian, Pitchfork and Paste Magazine, to name a few. Jimi has been songwriting for 10 years and playing guitar for 17 years, and they’re a big fan of Girls Rock Campaign Boston.
This workshop is open to girls, women, and youth and adults with marginalized gender identities, ages 8-108!
