Girls Rock Camp Boston (GRCB) is a non-profit organization (fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas) created to help girls build self-esteem and leadership skills through music education and performance.  GRCB hopes to stimulate and enrich the communities surrounding us and provide space to foster and showcase the power of girls and women.  GRCB serves as the antidote to the limits set upon young women within our society by providing positive female role models and creating an environment where girls can empower themselves, create their own identity, and find their voice.

GRCB will actualize itself in August 2010 as a week long day camp structured around the goal of girls, ages 8-16, coming together to

form bands, learn musical instruments, write music and lyrics, and perform at a live, public showcase at the end of the week.  The camp week will include instrument instruction, band practice, and various workshops all geared to enrich the lives of those who participate and the community in which we live.
